WATERFORD ANNUAL MEETING NEWS
Two new directors have been elected for three year terms to the Waterford Board of Directors; please welcome Sally Austin and Casey Hull to the board of directors.
A special shout out to Brad Gaebler and Carrie Plummer who have completed three year terms and are rolling off the board of directors. Brad has served as treasurer this year, and managed the pool during his first two years on the board. Carrie has been responsible for communications including the eblasts and website, and served as secretary her first year on the board. Thanks to Brad and Carrie for their service to the neighborhood.
The motion for the increase of $15 in the annual assessment passed 73-3 and was adopted; the annual assessment for 2014 will be $740.
Dues notices will be sent mid-December, and as outlined in Waterford's governing documents, are due January 1; dues received after January 31 will incur late fees.
TOWN & COUNTRY FALL YARD WASTE PICK-UP
Unlimited yard waste pickup is available October, November and December; yard waste collection season runs from April to December. Yard waste is not collected in January, February or March.
Per Johnson County regulations, all yard waste must be in biodegradable bags. No plastic bags will be accepted for leaves, grass clipping or any type of yard waste. Tree limbs may be tied in four-foot bundles or placed in biodegradable bags.
Reminder: Each resident can have one free bulky item pickup up per month at no charge. Simply call Town & Country 48 hours in advance and set item at the curb. Qualifying items include vacuums, lamps, toilets, electronics, patio umbrellas and furniture.
